About Carlyn

As a passionate teacher within the area, I am looking to work with a family over the summer! I have 12 years of child care experience and a dual masters degree in General Education and Special Education. I currently teach a preschool classroom in a local school district, and have experience in working with elementary and middle school students. I am an artist so I absolutely love creating projects for kids, or using my creativity to make time together exciting. As a teacher, I'd also love to work with your children on educational skills to promote learning over the summer! I have developed lasting relationships with families I have worked with in the past, both as a nanny and teacher, which is incredibly meaningful to me. I am available full-time from June 25 to August 28, and after 2:30 p.m. during the school year come September. I am excited to bring my professional background and creative energy into your home to help your children thrive this summer!
