About Carly

Unlocking a student's unique potential drives my passion for education. With three years of experience supporting elementary and middle school students in English, and History, I focus on building critical thinking and problem-solving skills. I adapt my teaching methods by actively listening and observing how you interact with new material, whether through visual aids, hands-on activities, or collaborative discussions. When concepts become challenging, I connect them to your personal interests and celebrate every small success to keep you motivated. I believe clear, open communication is essential to building the trust necessary for your academic growth. Seeing your confidence soar when a difficult topic finally clicks is the most rewarding part of my work. I am comfortable working in libraries, community centers, or coffee shops, and I am always happy to work alongside your pets while we learn together.
