My love for being a caregiver for seniors started 3 years ago where I would watch a 65yr old women with Alzheimer's for 4 hours a day. I then got to work as a caregiver in the memory care unit of an assisted living facility for the full summer. Most recently while in school I was able to be a morning caregiver for a male 70yr who is half paralyzed due to a stroke. I do everything from preparing meals, assisting with lifts and changes, stretches, bathing, showering, and any medication or other activities.
