About Carly

Carly watched our son alongside her own daughter (they were born 1 day apart!) from the time they were 6 months old up until almost 2 years old. To say her care exceeded our expectations would not be sufficient in portraying the excellence that Carly is as a caregiver. From the beginning, she worked with us to nail down the right hours that worked for everyone, was consistently right on time each day, and took the kiddos on outings every single day, whether to the park on a warm day or to various kids activities around town. She was flexible during the times I had to travel for work and her hours were adjusted a bit. She helped us through the big milestones in babyhood and early toddlerhood, and as a first time mom, I often asked her for advice on this and that since she comes from an early childhood education background. Not to mention, it was so nice to have another mom with a child the same age to vent to and laugh about the things our kids were getting up to each day. One of the hardest parts of our decision to move homes was knowing it would most likely mean the loss of Carly as our son's primary caregiver, and the incredible relationship she has formed with our son, and the relationship we grew with her and her daughter. We frequently laughed how often our kids were called twins, and the bond they formed essentially growing up as siblings was so special to watch blossom. Any family would be incredibly lucky to have Carly as a caregiver, and we already miss her warm presence in our home every day!
