About Carli

Hi there! My name is Carli. I am 28 years old, and I've lived here in denver for about three years. I currently work at an elementary school through Denver Public Schools as a 1:1 special needs paraprofessional. I love my job, it gives me so many reasons to smile & laugh each day! However education is not a particularly lucrative career. I'm looking to provide after-school & weekend support for families within my community outside of school as well. I personally love working with kids because it gives me life. I think children are brilliant and hilarious, and I truly enjoy spending time with them. I started working with kids when I was a kid myself to be honest, and I never really stopped! Starting with peer mentorship at my own elementary school as a 5th grader, working as a summer camp counselor, continuing on through my adult life as a paraprofessional. My skills include assisting with emotional regulation, listening to understand, & having safe fun
