About Carlene

Hi my name is Carlene and I'm 20 years old! I have been working with kids from ages 0-12 and of all needs for the past 3 years now. I've been a Respite care worker for kids with disabilities and I was a live-in nanny for roughly a year in Spain. I'm very adaptable, adventurous and know what it takes to assist in running a household- be it helping take care of the kids, chores, meal prep, or light errands, I've done it all! Im CPR & First Aid certified and have a clean driving record! I am currently training to become a Birth & Postpartum Doula as well. I would say I'm very nurturing and know how to connect well with kids! It's important for me to build trust and a caring relationship with each kid I work with- helping them to feel really cared for and SEEN. I'm looking for a family that is kind and that I can have a healthy relationship with. Flexibility is also important to me as I will be assisting in a few births this summer.
