About Carla

If your family is lucky enough to obtain Carla as a caregiver - you are lucky indeed! Our family will forever be grateful for Carla and the care she gave to our mom (and all of us!) Our mom has FTD, an unknown world to all of us and Carla helped us immensely in understanding dementia and how to best care for our mom. She became a part of the family seamlessly, always there to help our mom, but also there to do dishes, help with our dogs, do laundry, clean up our messes, take us to the airport, travel with our mom - not an easy task! On top of it she has a great sense of humor and is a lovely person to be around. Our dad, who is particularly picky about who he spends time with, really enjoyed Carla and all of their conversations. Since our mom is mostly non-verbal, his time with Carla was a treat! Our parents stayed in NH at our second home longer than planned all because of Carla. Her care was so good and she became a bit of a family manager, helping us hire other caregivers to care for our mom, managing invoices and doing all sorts of house chores to keep things moving along. Unfortunately, our parents needed to come back down to their primary home so our time with Carla ended, but if we could have brought her with us we would have! There is no one else I would choose over Carla to come be with our family and help us as we are navigating this difficult time with our mom. We are so thankful we found her! You will be too :)
