About Carla

Hi I'm Carla ! I have dedicated my adult life to the care of children. I started out babysitting and working at daycare centers while in high school and college. I have a degree in elementary education and spent many years as a teacher and substitute teacher for grades K-12. I am a mother of three children and a grandmother of one! I have an interest in being a newborn care giver - especially those nighttime hours when the baby is awake and you are exhausted. I would love to come and help ease your worries when bringing home a newborn from the hospital. Some of my duties will be changing, bathing, soothing, feeding and comforting your newborn while you get some much needed rest. I can also help with breastfeeding and teach you how to care for your newborn. I also am available for evening and nighttime care for your child.
