About Carla

As a caretaker, my passion stems from my previous babysitting roles, which inspired me to pursue a career where I can make a positive impact on children's lives. I have eight years of experience as a childcare provider, and I'm comfortable caring for one child at a time. Being patient, calm, creative, imaginative, friendly, and approachable allows me to naturally connect with children. I am very comfortable enforcing household rules and communicating with parents about their child's day or any issues that arise, either verbally at pickup or through their preferred communication method. My diverse skill set includes CPR training, cooking and meal preparation, light housekeeping, and supervising swimming. I have a car, I am comfortable with pets, and I am bilingual in English and Spanish. My favorite games to play with children include outdoor sports and physical games, board games and puzzles, and technology-based games and apps.
