With three years of experience, I hold a college degree and focus on building confidence and a love for learning, not just memorization. I actively listen to students and observe how they interact with new material, then vary my teaching strategies using visual aids, hands-on activities, discussions, and practice problems. I connect challenging topics to real-world examples, celebrate small successes, and break down complex problems to maintain motivation. Open communication is essential, so I prioritize building trust and collaboration with students and parents through regular check-ins and feedback. Seeing a student's confidence grow as they master new skills is the most rewarding part of tutoring. I have a car, am comfortable with pets, and am CPR and First Aid trained.
