About Carla

I have been caring for children for over 15 years. I first started in my senior year of high school when I became a summer camp leader in the Ohio area. I then went on to become a certified nursing assistant where I cared for both children and elderly people and still do till this day. I also have had the pleasure of being a youth coordinator for the Urban League of Flint where I took on the responsibility of running Summer day camp for 200 children which include art, reading, tutoring and nourishment. I have such a passion for kids because I truly believe that they are the heartbeat of God, so innocent and pure. I want to be that light that shines a safety net and a person that will help them to achieve their plans in life.
