About Carla

Im 43, a single mom to a spunky 8-year-old. I took care of my grandmother while she was ill and until the day she passed. I cooked, clean, ran errands with her including Doctors visits, gave medications, changed diapers and sponge bathed her. Her last days were difficult for me but I would do anything to have a few more minutes. I am proud to say she went just how she wanted, in her home. She took her last breathe in my arms, while I thanked her for being such an amazing force in my life and everyone's life who she touched. More recently I helped a family friend with her mother with dementia for a few years until she passed. It's a very rewarding and fulfilling.
