Hi! 

I have worked with children professionally for the past 9 years. I have experience with all ages and abilities and truly just have a passion for children! I have worked in a preschool, a toddler classroom, been a private nanny to children ages ranging from 0-12. I have a clean driving record, and car to transport children should that be needed!

My rates start at $25/hr with a 3 hour minimum.

During her interview, she did sound unsure as to whether or not she wanted to recommit to childcare. She assured us that she was more than interested and could commit FULLY to our family. We scheduled her. To be fair, she was on time, showed up ready to work and our child (3 years old) did speak highly of her. That being said - 5 days later, I received a very harsh text message that I would love to show anyone who wants to see it from her regarding my child. She proceeded to spend two paragraphs bashing my three year old for being difficult to put to bed. She claimed that he hit and tried to scratch her. I called that evening, spoke to my child on the phone, addressed the behavior and my child fell asleep minutes later. He wasn't being any more difficult than a normal child his age. Her priorities have changed since moving to TN, hire at your own risk! She has no interest in working hard or being committed.

Carla has been our family's full time nanny since 2019.  We have two children (5 and 2) and she's incredible with both.  She cares for them with kindness, empathy, and consistency and is a wonderful role model for them.  She's very creative and is always finding new ways to engage with the kids, coordinate crafts, hit educational and developmental milestones, and encourage them to use their imaginations.  She's very adaptable in finding diverse activities, while still maintaining a consistent schedule for their days.  This year, she's been managing virtual school for our 5yo, which has been going very well.  She's also creatively keeping our 2yo engaged and learning, despite a drop in outside and group activities during the pandemic.  She is extremely dependable and professional in her communication and work.  Our kids adore her and we're so grateful for the relationship she has with them and us.

All communication prior to interview was great; timely, warm and professional. We interviewed her on Monday evening. Everything went great. Sent a text on Tuesday morning, no response. Sent another text on Wednesday, no response again. Very frustrating! Please let parents know even if you don't want the job.

I can't say enough about how wonderful Carla is. She has been SUCH a blessing to our family and our two children adore her. I've seen our 3 year old daughter blossom both socially and educationally in the time that Carla has worked with our family. Carla keeps our kiddos on a routine that works great for them and incorporates educational opportunities every chance she gets. She also finds great activities around town for them to do! Carla is extremely professional as well and considerate of our needs and preferences as a family. Prior to our first day of care with Carla, she was asking about our goals for our children during their time with her; social, emotional, and learning objectives; things we wanted them exposed to (or not exposed to); etc. We are extremely grateful to have her caring for our children and consider her part of our family! 

Carla is great with playing with children, and incorporates learning if you want her to. She his high energy and amazing with our children. We have a 2.5 and 6 month old. Both of my children adore her. 

Carla is simply amazing with my two boys. She is always on time and comes with crafts and games for them to play. She is extremely personable and has a sincere passion for kids. I can not recommend her enough, she is phenomenal. 

Something we as parents love about Carla is she actively plays and interacts with our boys.  

We first met Carla when she was a caregiver at my children's primary daycare/preschool.  She was great with the kids and they loved her so much that we felt comfortable inviting her into our home to care for our kids during a much needed night out!  High praises from the parents and kids, ages 5 and 1.5.  

My girls absolutely love having her watch them.

Carla is very enthusiastic about working with kids, teach in them and having fun.  And the kids like her a lot!

Carla is fantastic with kids! She worked at my kids Elementary school as a Para-pro, as well as taking care of our friends' two children for almost a year! She was always punctual when picking their kids up at the bus stop (which we all shared). My kiddos looked forward to seeing Miss. Carla EVERYDAY at their school. When my daughter had trouble with bullies, Miss. Carla took care of it! My daughter cried for three nights after she left the school for a different position:( Carla has showed up at my daughters dance recitals to watch her because she adores my daughter! She is amazing with the children, and all of them love and adore her! I would HIGHLY recommend Carla to anyone looking for a responsible, caring, dedicated babysitter! 

Has a great rapport with young children. Lively and energetic. Enjoys developing educational activities to promote learning skills. 

Carla is amazing with my 18 month old son. She was able to quickly develop a bond with him and treats him as if he is her own. She takes the time to teach and nurture above and beyond most care givers. She is extremely flexible, trustworthy and you can tell children are her passion in life. I will be continuing to hire her for the foreseeable future! :)
