Hello, my name is Carla! I have been working in various sorts of childcare positions since my early college years. I have a degree in Fitness and Sports Coaching from the University of West Florida. I have worked as a pre-school gymnastics coach as well as a coach in a tennis academy. I have also worked at my university's day care center and an after-school program. During the summers, I worked as a part time babysitter for over 5 families. These past two years I have worked as a full-time career nanny for three amazing families in Boston. I wish to continue working in the childcare field as I am very passionate about my job and have a strong motivation to be the best caretaker I can be. I describe myself as a very patient, trustworthy, gentle person with a huge talent for working with children. My favorite activities to do with kids is teaching sports, going to playgrounds, exploring museums/ aquariums. Anything active while keeping it fun and safe!

Carla is amazing with my 2 year old daughter. My daughter always asks when she gets to see Carla again, and as soon as she sees Carla she gets so giddy and excited. Carla does a good job of keeping our daughter busy with exciting activities, whether it’s going to story time at our nearby library or going to the park. She’s very good at engaging our daughter and can quickly turn her mood around if she’s in a grumpy or sad mood. Carla is also happy to cook for her, and help clean up as well. I love having Carla watch our daughter because I know she will have such a good time and be in good hands.
