About Carla

Hello All! I love to see that spark in someone's eyes when they learn something new! I home-schooled my children from grade school through high school and tutored them through college. I have one child who was dyslexic and had reading comprehension problems, we successfully conquered that mountain! I can also offer intro classes in arts -> beginner drawing, ceramics and yarn crafts, including knot tying. I have an educational background in IS/IT and 25+ years experience in the technology field. Anyone who wants to become more familiar with their home computer and increase their employment skills would benefit from my tutoring. I offer a gentle approach to learning that helps the student retain the information, not just memorize and regurgitate, in a comfortable setting and reasonable price.
