About Cari

Hi! I'm a mom of three with over two years of hands-on experience as a daycare worker (infants through preschool) and a preschool teacher's assistant. I've also babysat for other families and worked with kids of all ages. I love helping children grow, learn, and feel safe. I treat every child with the care I'd want for my own. I'm calm, patient, friendly, and empathetic. I follow the parent's lead, using respectful, age-appropriate guidance with clear, consistent boundaries. I enjoy reading, building, singing, pretend play, and outdoor time all the kinds of play where real learning happens. I'm CPR/First Aid certified and happy to help with cooking, light housekeeping, and swimming supervision. I've completed a WA State safety screening through MERIT (DCYF), and hold a valid Food Handler's Card and an Initial Certificate in Early Childhood Education.
