About Carissa

Knowing that families need reliable support is what inspires me to become a caregiver. I have three years of experience caring for children, a majority of that has been with infants, ages 0-1, in a classroom based setting. But I also worked with children with autism, ages 2-5, in the most recent months. My approach is patient and calm, and I always follow the parents' lead when enforcing household rules. I am going back to school, doing online courses, and I'm looking for some part time nannying to do on the side. I enjoy playing outdoors with children as well as doing educational games. I am comfortable caring for 1-3 children at a time and am happy to help with cooking, light housekeeping, crafts, and I am more than comfortable with pets and caring for them as well. I maintain First Aid training and a CPR certification that has been recently renewed. I am excited to meet your family and provide a nurturing environment for your child to grow and thrive!
