About Carissa

I have experience watching children, 4 days old and up. I love to provide a learning environment with children. I had gotten my CDA when I worked as an infant/toddler daycare lead teacher, but chose to quit working in daycares as I didn't feel like I could give those babies the attention they needed. I have the most experience with babies under the age of 1, but have worked with all ages over the year as well as twins. I have experience as a before and after school nanny, full time nanny, overnight newborn care, and as a daycare teacher. I was with my former family for over 5 years and parted ways due to the kids going to school. My goal is to create an environment where the kids feel safe, loved, and can grow into independent, kind, respectful, smart children. I just relocated to Galveston, have been in the Houston area since 2006, & have been working with kids for over 10 years now.
