Hi, I'm Carissa! I'm a high school counselor during the school year, and established babysitter with 17 years experience. I love working with kids of all ages, but most especially infants and toddlers. I love to teach kiddos new things, do crafts, explore outside, and most of all create amazing bonds. I want to be able to provide parents with the comfort and security of having someone trustworthy watching their little ones. I've worked as an infant/toddler teacher, a nanny/babysitter, mentor, camp counselor, and an early intervention specialist. I have experience with children with differing needs, abilities, and conditions/allergies, and I can do meal prep and housekeeping. I'm a non-smoker, clean driver, and animal lover - I'm a cat mom myself. I'm also CPR/First Aid certified, and I carry my infant/toddler/preschool certifications.

Carissa has been a godsend during COVID for our family. She has cared for our 4.5 year old super spunky, smart daughter for over 6 months. She, of course, is always on time and, while here, spends all her time following and focusing our daughter's imagination and creativity. Most days will find them taking hour(s) long walks in the neighborhood, playing outside, doing crafts, joining virtual classrooms to do music or phonics or Bluey dance classes, doing workbooks, cooking, playing, virtual yoga or whatever else seems like fun. Carissa has fostered my daughter's interests while also making sure she learns numbers, letter, and manners while being out of school. Carissa is kind but never a pushover, and it brings me joy that my daughter looks forward to seeing her every day. Carissa truly feels like part of the family and I can only recommend that you welcome her into yours.
