About Carisa

Empowering students to move beyond rote memorization is at the heart of my teaching practice. With four years of experience supporting elementary through high school students in Math and Science, I focus on building both confidence and critical thinking skills. I tailor my approach to your unique learning style by incorporating visual aids, hands-on activities, and real-world examples to make complex concepts feel manageable. I believe open communication with you and your family is essential to creating a collaborative, supportive environment. Whether we meet online, at your home, or a local library, I am dedicated to fostering a genuine love for learning. My greatest reward is witnessing that "aha!" moment when a student masters a new skill. I truly look forward to helping you reach your academic goals and watching you succeed.
