About Carina

I'm an early childhood education major with plans to continue my course work at one of the local community colleges. I've always been in the childcare/ teaching realm since I was about 16. From my early years as a weekend babysitter to nannying throughout college to classrooms. The three things I place emphasis on are trust, choice and individuality. I find that those things help nurture the freedom for the kiddos to be wholly themselves. Which in my opinion, cultivates the best environment for creativity, fun, and wonder. In my everyday life, I love being outside as much as possible, puzzles, music, reading, and anything pertaining to art. Which I've found overlaps very well in this profession haha! I'm a massive advocate that it takes a community to raise little ones. It's vital to me to not just have a good relationship with your children, but with the family as a whole.
