Hello my name is Carina. I am a UMBC graduate with a biology and psychology degree. I am fluent in Spanish and English and have previously taught both languages. I am CPR, X-ray certified, and I work as a part-time oral surgeon assistant along with conducting biomedical research. I have over 10 years of experience babysitting children from the ages of three months to 16 years of age. In previous years I have been a tutor at Anne Arundel community college for many different subjects and have also homeschooled in previous jobs. Along with babysitting children, I have been taking care of my grandfather for the past 7 years who has been diagnosed with Alzheimer's and epilepsy. Carina was a great help to me and my husband. My husband and I both were working Monday to Friday and needed someone to take care of my 2 kids, 8 month old son and 7 year old daughter during our work time. She helped my daughter with her school work along with taking care of my son - changing his diapers, feeding him, putting him to sleep. Not only did she tutored my daughter, she played with both of my kids and watched movies and also taught my daughter how to fold clothes, fix her rooms, etc.. Carina also took care of my kids some weekends when my husband and I would go on dates or to events. My daughter loved her so much and was extremely sad when we moved to a different place. We never had any complains from her and she did her job perfectly. I still recommend her to my friends and family back home if they ever need a nanny. Carina will never disappoint and treat the kids like they are her own.
