About Carina

Empowering students to reach their full potential is at the heart of my tutoring practice. With three years of experience, I specialize in helping college students navigate complex subjects ranging from Math and Computer Science to the Arts and Physical Education. I believe that true success comes from building confidence and fostering a genuine love for learning rather than simple memorization. I assess your unique learning style through active observation and open communication, adapting my methods to include visual aids, hands-on activities, or collaborative discussions. When concepts become challenging, I break them down into manageable steps and connect them to your personal interests to maintain momentum. I hold CPR training and First Aid certifications. Whether we are working in your home or tackling a difficult project, I am committed to celebrating your progress. I look forward to supporting your academic journey and helping you find your own "aha!" moment.
