About Carina

Hi, I'm 25. I would describe my personality as bubbly, compassionate, and creative. I like working with kids because children are curious, adventurous, and creative, it's so fun to see the artwork that they create. Another reason I enjoy working with kids is because of the connection you get to build with each kid and watching them grow into their own unique self. I first started working with children when I was in middle school I volunteered for Edina Give and Go. I would go in Saturday mornings and help elementary age kids with school work. Then while I was in high school I often baby sat two pre teen kiddos for a family friend. Most our time consisted of doing fun activities like going to the local beach and pool, valley fair, and the ice cream shop. After that I started working for two families with children between the ages of 1-9. During that I would do more in house day to day things, like nap time, lunch, dinner, bed time, school bus drop off/pick up, and light housekeeping.
