I have been taking care of other people's children since I was 11 years old. I taught preschool for 15 years before transitioning to home daycare. I recently moved to Eau Claire from St Charles, Illinois. The families I left behind had been with me between 4 & 12 years. I enjoy taking care of kids & have no problem finding things to keep us busy. I love baking with them, playing games, or working on crafts. I try to get them outside as much as possible, even sledding in the winter. I take them to Storytime at the library & try to find other library programs they'd enjoy. I hold First Aid Training and CPR Training. I am comfortable enforcing your household rules and follow your preferred communication method for daily updates & will send pictures throughout the day. I also assist with meal preparation, errands, and light housekeeping. I truly look forward to becoming a reliable partner in your family's daily life and helping your children grow.

We truly cannot say enough wonderful things about Carie. She cared for our children as if they were her own, and over the time she was with us, she became so much more than a childcare provider—she became part of our family. Our kids absolutely adored her, and we miss having her as part of our everyday lives. She was always finding ways to enrich our children’s days, whether it was reading books together, going on little adventures, doing crafts, baking, or coming up with the silliest games that kept everyone laughing. She created such a wonderful balance of fun, learning, and genuine care. Most importantly, we always knew our children were loved, safe, and happy when they were with Carie. Anyone lucky enough to have Carie care for their children is truly getting someone special. We feel incredibly fortunate that she was such an important part of our children’s lives and our family, and we would recommend her without hesitation!
