About Cari

I'd describe my personality as creative, curious, and reliable. I like working with kids because they are a light in a dark world! Kids truly make me think about life in a different way. I am a natural teacher and children naturally love to learn. I'm looking for a job that allows flexibility. My experience and strengths are largely in education and nurturing roles. I started working with kids when was 10! I cared for my brothers every day after school. I also babysat until I finished college. I then had my daughters and they were born 16 months apart. In my spare time I like to garden, read, spend time with my dog, visit friends and family, travel and enjoy nature, art and music. One thing you should know about me is I see caring for others as a way to give back the care I have received in my life and when I was raising my own family. I live by the golden rule. My skills include enforcing safe and fair boundaries, engaging children with fun and being naturally nurturing.
