About Cari

Good day! I am a retired science and culinary arts teacher with the CUSD for over 14 years, as well as worked for a special needs agency as a behavioral specialist and ASL aid. I enjoyed raising two wonderful, compassionate, responsible, and successful children. I am on several friends' emergency cards for their children. Prior to becoming a teacher, I worked in Nursing and Respiratory Therapy for 23 years. I enjoy tutoring children and creating creative learning opportunities for children. Most importantly, I like to help children feel supported in who they are and strive to be. I am looking for wonderful opportunities to assist families with providing a safe and caring environment for their children to learn and grow . I maintain many certifications that provide emergency response and care. Lastly, I maintain a very energetic and healthy lifestyle playing pickleball, golf , swimming and hiking weekly.
