About Careen

Hello! My name is Careen and I enjoy caring for littles. I have been a teacher for the past year or so for 16 toddlers ranging from 2 and on; including children with special needs. I have lots experience with infants as I have an almost 1-year-old and assist in his classroom as well. I'd describe my personality as patient, considerate and observant for any and all circumstances. I like working with kids because it's so exciting to see them grow and learn their environment as a little person. Children are so explorative and can create such adventures that bring happiness. I started working with kids when I began college and ventured through the different teacher methods to allow kids to explore. My skills include creating environments to allow children to grow through exploratory play, communication through emotional regulation and creating relationships to bond with children and families.
