I have extensive experience in health and child care. I hold a degree in Early Childhood Development and infant/toddler certification. I'm also CPR and First Aid certified. I simply love children and I enjoy spending time with them. Recently I have worked part-time as an infant caregiver in an academy in Palm Beach Gardens for the last 7 years. I have a lot of experience with infants/toddlers & can provide great references.

We used her while visiting West Palm Beach for an event, and she was great—punctual, kind, and very attentive. We felt completely comfortable and would definitely use her again!

Cara was wonderful! We hired her for one evening, for which we were attending an event. She was punctual and friendly. She engaged our two toddlers right away and they didn't even notice when we left for the evening! She put us all at ease and gave us an update when the kids were sound asleep. I highly recommend Cara and would hire her again if I were back in the area.

We hired Cara for a one off babysitting job for our two month old when we were in the area for a wedding. Cara was great. Kept good track of when our child was asleep, when he ate, had a BM and so on. Highly recommend for infant care.

Cara was perfectly on time (5 mins early). She was well presented, but most importantly had such a friendly and caring nature. The first time having someone watch my 8 week old and I felt so comfortable. We were in and out of the house while Cara was there; the baby was never out of sorts, Cara was very prompt to change her wet diapers (baby HATES being wet for more than 3 seconds), was very interactive with baby and all round genuinely caring. 
I wouldn't hesitate to have Cara back!

I could never put into words what Cara means to our family. She has became family through out the year she worked for us. We were so sad with our sudden departure due to moving a little further north. 

She started when my daughter was five months old, and she has adored her from day one. Just because we don't have the privilege of having Cara with us every week, we are still in touch and trust her with anything!

Best Nanny ever! She understands babies and young children language. She understands how babies develop and endure she measures all their milestone. She knows what to do when no direction given. Cara understands what a life of a busy mom is like and take a huge burden off by providing the best care for her children.

Cara has been caring for my son since he was just weeks old. She is and will always be part of our family for a lifetime. She is the most reliable and caring nanny on this earth! She has taught my son so much and has watched him grow. Cara is so passionate about her job and treats each child like they are her own. She has the patience of a saint and a heart of gold! We needed a sitter for a night while in vacation. Cara arrived early with a bag of her own toys, books and puzzles, which was awesome because we had very little. She asked a few questions and just immediately started engaging our son. She kept him active, cleaned up after dinner well and got him safely and soundly in bed. Everything was great!

Cara was the very first caregiver my grandson M. had and still is. She goes above and beyond, always bringing new and current ideas to the table. My grandson is autistic and does not speak, Cara is trained to work with autism and helped me out with resources... books for using sign language and referrals to speech and occupational therapists. She has brought him to the gym, to church, to his swimming lessons. We have know Cara for over 4 years and she is now more like aunt Cara to M. and he adores her... she is a tremendous help for both of us.

I'm one of Cara's sisters and she did daycare in my home in Maryland for almost 5 years. She took care of infants, toddlers and preschoolers and was well-liked by the parents of the children she cared for while they were at work. Even though Cara moved to Florida over 8 years ago, one of these families has continued to get together with Cara pretty much every time she comes back to Maryland to visit me. Cara also hired an assistant when she had more children, a woman who then became a mutual friend of ours. Since I was working part-time back then, I had many opportunities to observe Cara taking care of the kids. She had plenty of toys, books and games to keep them occupied when they weren't napping. She also took them often to the playground next to my home. Cara has experience caring for & tutoring children in the autism spectrum, too.  With her wealth of experience & love for children, Cara can take good care of your child(ren)!

Cara is an excellent babysitter.  She babysat for both my children from infant hood to ages five and six. My son, is autistic, and daughter, , developmentally delayed and speech impaired. Cara has a background in behavior therapy and has drawn upon her skills to help my son overcome bad behavior like hitting other children and running away.  She has helped my daughter to develop her speech and worked with her on potty training.  Cara is flexible, creative and firm with discipline. She is also loving and kind.
I highly recommend Cara for any babysitting job. I have seen her in action as an infant care-taker at a local daycare as well as a private sitter. Hire her! You will be blessed!

I have known Cara since 1996. She is loving and kind, trustworthy and responsible. Cara loves children and animals and they love her back.
