About Cara

Hi! I am a 20-year-old student at the University of North Carolina Wilmington, where I am majoring in Economics. I have a passion for working with children and consider myself to be creative, organized, and compassionate. I began working with children at age 14 as a swim coach for kids ages 3-7 and have continued coaching each summer for the past six years. In addition, I have four years of experience as a lifeguard and have held various childcare roles including coaching, babysitting, nannying, and working in the childcare program at 828 Church. Most recently, I was a full-time nanny for a family with two children, ages 8 and 10. I am certified in CPR, First Aid, and Lifeguarding. I am comfortable transporting children, assisting with activities, and ensuring a safe and enjoyable environment. I look forward to the possibility of joining your family and supporting your children in their routines and activities.
