About Cara

Hi! My name is Cara, and I'm a college student at Hofstra University, going into my sophomore year this fall. I'm getting my degree in Childhood Education and hope to become an elementary school teacher, so working with kids is something I'm truly passionate about. I have about five years of babysitting experience with children ages newborn to 12+. I love creating a fun, safe and engaging environment for them whether it's helping with homework, coming up with creative activities, or sticking to their routines like meals and bedtime. I always make sure each child feels comfortable and cared for. I'm responsible, patient, and reliable, and I understand how important it is for parents to feel confident and at ease. I'm also a strong communicator and will always keep you updated. I'm currently looking for a summer babysitting position, and my hours are very flexible.
