About Cara

I'm currently a veterinarian tech but I have always had the passion to care for children and have an abundant amount of experience doing so. I have been a babysitter for many years in my life. I have helped tutor children and care for my nieces and nephew. I have also fostered a 2yr old boy. My previous babysitting experiences and childcare solidified my desire to positively impact children's lives by fostering their growth and development. I am patient, calm and approachable. I enjoy doing activities vs being on a phone, tv, iPod, etc. I believe children need activities like outdoor sports, board games, puzzles, and educational games, as the way I grew up. I am believe in enforcing household rules. I would also like to know I would be ok to have conversations with the parents if I had any concerns with their child/children. I am big on communication. I believe it plays a big role in the success and growth. I am CPR certified and have plenty of references. Oh, and I love animals too!
