About Cara

For over 30 years, I have been dedicated to nurturing children's growth and development. My journey began with a passion for teaching, and I spent 30 years as a kindergarten teacher. Currently, I teach autistic children ages 3-9, which has further enriched my understanding of diverse needs. I have my Masters Degree in Early Childhood Education, along with a valid teaching certificate. I have First Aid Training and CPR Training. My experience extends to caring for children with special needs. My approach is patient, calm, creative, and friendly. I enjoy playing outdoor sports, board games, and educational games. I am comfortable caring for up to four children across various age groups, from infants to preteens. I am also very comfortable enforcing household rules and communicating with you using your preferred method. I can assist with carpooling, light housekeeping, travel, and crafts.
