Hi there! I'm Cara, an experienced, patient, and warm caregiver for folks with disabilities. Most recently, I was the Lead Art Instructor at the Arc of San Francisco, where I taught classes and provided direct care for artists with developmental disabilities. Previously, I worked in a residential setting where I supported multiple people with disabilities, as well as was the full time caregiver in a woman's home. My experience ranges from personal care, to emotional support, physical assistance, and advocacy. I've also worked with clients towards their goals, and I've successfully supported people to gain employment, develop relationships, self-advocate in healthcare settings, and more.
