I have spent the past 17 years working in long-term care, focusing on Social Services and supporting seniors. My passion lies in caring for individuals with Dementia and those with special needs, ensuring they receive patience, understanding, and dignity in every interaction. In addition to my professional experience, I had the privilege of being a caregiver, which I believe initiated my commitment to personalized senior support. While I am not formally trained in personal cares, I have assisted aides and nurses throughout my career and am comfortable helping when needed, as I did, hands-on with my grandmothers, doing tube feeds, oxygen, showers, and more.
