Hi, I'm Candy! I'm seeking weekend opportunities providing respite care and direct support for children, teens, and adults, especially participants in California's Self-Determination Program (SDP). I'm willing to complete onboarding with your FMS provider. I bring 15+ years of experience supporting individuals with autism, ADHD, and developmental disabilities. I assist with daily living skills, personal hygiene, routines, communication, social skills, community outings, and safety while respecting each person's choices and independence. I also follow established behavior support plans. I work as a Program Supervisor, hold a BS in Psychology with an ABA concentration, and have completed BCaBA coursework. I am RBT Certified. I'm CPR/First Aid certified, have reliable transportation, and welcome pets. Available weekends, mornings through evenings and overnight, in Contra Costa, Alameda, Marin, and Solano counties. Private pay welcome.

Candy has been with my family since April 2018. She is a kind, loving and a caring person. She not only is my son's ABA therapist, but she also helps with my other children as well. She has now become apart of our family. I know that I can completely trust her with any of my children. She is very patient and knows how to work with children of all ages. I can truly see her passion for working with children when I see her arrive at my home and check in with each one of my children, asking how their day went and making sure they all feel heard. Candy is a wonderful caring person would be a great addition to any family. We will definitely keep her in our family for years to come.
