About Candy

I'm new to Portland and originally from Houston, Texas. Before becoming a mom, I built my career in restaurants and loved hospitality--not just the service itself, but creating comfort, caring for people, and making experiences feel thoughtful and personal. Since moving to Portland, I've been a stay-at-home mom to my toddler and have found myself drawn to caregiving in a similar way. I enjoy creating a warm, welcoming environment that encourages curiosity, creativity, and independence. As a mom, I have hands-on experience with routines, meals, play, outings, and keeping little ones safe and engaged. I'm looking for a part-time morning or daytime position. I'm also happy to help with light housekeeping, meal prep, errands, organizing, and other tasks that make life easier for parents. I'm hoping to support a family while I work toward returning to school and eventually pursuing nursing.
