Certified teacher looking for a 2026 summer nanny job. A little background about myself is, I started babysitting as a young teenager. I was a nanny for three years during college. I currently teach and have been teaching for 22 years in the same school district. I have nannied every summer for the last 7+ years. I enjoy sports, board games, swimming, reading, arts and crafts, and having fun! I am very reliable, dependable, and flexible. I enjoy getting out and taking kids to fun places. If you are looking for someone to interact with your children and be off of screens, then I'm your girl.

Candi has been a great fit for our active family. She is flexible, which we require as musicians (whose rehearsals and performances can get cancelled or go long). She is extremely attentive and follows our parenting style. Great integrity, plays with our two boys (2 and 4) as a rule, thorough care-giving, very communicative. We hope to have our relationship for years to come.

She stated she was available on weeknights. I then contacted her and she said she wasn't. Very unprofessional and misleading.

Showed up late after agreeing to an earlier time. Used again and she just did not show or contact me! Excusable reason to not be able to babysit but why would you never call!!!!

To say that Candi helped make my wedding wonderful, would be an understatement. Candi watched our 3 month old baby for our entire wedding day. Candi was PHENOMENAL, she literally made my wedding perfect. From the amazing way she calmed down our baby, to helping her nap, passing her between relatives, taking care of bottles and outfit changes, and just everything, Candi was so great. I wish I lived closer to the area if only to be able to have her as a babysitter for events in the future. I would 100% recommend her to all looking to give their children the best babysitter I know!!

Candi was with us for four consecutive summers. Our girls loved her and looked forward to her coming back each year. Candi is active and hands on with the kids - they especially loved playing outside and swimming. As a teacher and mother, she has the wonderful quality of being fun while setting boundaries and rules. She also helped the girls with their summer work and taught them a bunch of new games. Candi was not only extremely reliable, but she was flexible when needed. Our girls are older now, which is the only reason Candi is not coming back this summer. My husband and I would strongly recommend Candi to another family!

Highly recommend Candi. She stepped right into our family with a can-do attitude and a big smile! Candi took on multiple summer activities with our four kids with energy and enthusiasm. She was punctual, reliable, professional, loving, and kind. My kids knew they could trust and count on her. My husband and I appreciated all that she did to partner with us and help our household run smoothly when we were working!

My children say Candi is as sweet as candy! She is beyond perfect in every way! Candi can handle anything! The kids love her and mommy loves her too! Candi watches my four children five days a week. She makes them dinner and does laundry and is their mom while I'm away.

Candi has provided excellent care for our very difficult five-month-old baby girl since we hired her.  She took the time to learn our baby very well and helped her stay on a nap schedule.  Candi is very loving and patient with our baby, and we feel like we couldn't have hired a better sitter.   She is also very flexible, knowledgeable,  and incredibly easy to work with.   I can't recommend Candi enough to to anyone looking for a sitter.

Candi took care of my almost 2 year old son during the summer of 2014. Working with her was a wonderful experience and I cannot write too glowing of a reference for her.  I would ask her to join our family again without hesitation if we needed childcare. She is caring, reliable, and responsive. From the moment we met Candy, my girls (6 year old twins) and I loved her! She was very friendly, sat right down, and started talking and playing with my girls. 

She babysat last summer. And whether they went to her house or she came to ours, the girls had a a fun-filled day.

As her principal of 9 years, I have witnesses Candi blossom into one of the best educators in my entire school district.  She takes the necessary time build a positive rapport with her children and is able to always highlight their individual strengths, all the while, focusing on those challenging weaknesses.  Candi is exceptional in everything that she does, and will make a wonderful addition to your staff.
