About Candice

Candice is, put simply, a spectacular caregiver. As her bio indicates, she has broad and deep experience working with children of all ages in diverse settings, and her training, experience, dedication, and passion are evident in every interaction she has had with our family. As a short-term, full-time nanny for our infant son, Candice had a transformative impact on our family. When she began working with us, my then-8mo son was struggling with separation anxiety and was unable to sleep through the night. Within a week, he was grinning when Candice came through the door in the morning and was soon on a consistent schedule and sleeping through the night. Candice helped him grow his comfort and ability eating solid foods and has encouraged his motor development through play and age-appropriate activities. She is educated and experienced in early childhood development, and each day she plans fun, seasonally appropriate, educational activities for our baby while making sure all of his other needs are met. During the time Candice has been with our family, I have watched our son blossom: she’s established great routines for him while also instilling a love of music, reading, and play. Reading is very important to our family, and Candice’s love of and knowledge of children’s literature and skill in developing early literacy have made a noticeable difference in our son’s development and interest in his books. Finally, Candice is extremely professional, intelligent, kind, and trustworthy. As a first time mom, I was nervous about leaving my baby with a new caregiver. Candice immediately eased my nerves, and the bond she developed with my son is lovely to witness. Her creativity, consistency, and conscientiousness have made her time with our family truly special, and we’re the better for having worked with her.
