About Candela

Hi there! I'm Candela. I'm a dedicated caregiver with a passion for helping young people grow, learn, and--most importantly--find joy in the process. My approach is active and engaged; you'll often find me on the floor building complex block towers, leading an "eco-expedition" at the local park, or facilitating a messy, soul-filling art project. I work with children and adolescents because I'm deeply inspired by their natural curiosity and resilience. My background as a therapist, combined with my roots in Montessori and eco-education, allows me to see every moment as an opportunity for growth. I'm not just there to supervise; I'm there to foster a generative environment where your child feels seen, supported, and free to explore the world around them.
