About Candace

I have over 10 years of experience in elder care. I have worked with elders in the capacity of being a companion, meal prep, personal care, feeding and activities with private clients as well as in residential facilities. I've been responsible for multiple residents going grocery shopping, to doctors' appointments, etc. I've worked primarily with dementia patients but I don't require that. It's important to me that while I am with my clients, that they get mental stimulation. I'm also experienced in caring for bed-bound hospice patients and am very familiar with the challenges and tasks required to care for them. People who know me can tell you that my passion in life is elder people. I also have a bachelor's degree in psychology and minor in anthropology.
