I am safe, confident, trustworthy, and am incredibly comfortable around children and animals. I have worked with children ages newborn - 12+. I am comfortable with multiple children as well, as I was a summer camp counselor for over 10 2-year-olds for 4 years!! I have a clean driving record and a safe car as well. I was a nanny for 2 summers for two very busy kids at camps and a safe car is a must!! I am very communicative and like to keep you informed, I will also send you lots of pics!! Other than kids, I have a Master's degree in Natural Resources from the University of Georgia (go dawgs!), I love to play volleyball, hang out outside, and watch movies. I really wanted this to work out and initially had a positive impression of her. Unfortunately, we scheduled two separate times to meet, and both were canceled the same day with very little notice. I completely understand that unexpected circumstances and illness happen, but after two last-minute cancellations, I no longer felt comfortable moving forward. I also found some of our communication to be overly casual and not as professional as I would expect when discussing a potential childcare position. As a parent, reliability, clear communication, and professionalism are extremely important to me when choosing someone to care for my child. I wish her well, but based on my experience, I ultimately did not feel that she was the right fit for our family.
