Mother of 3 grown children (18 y. o. boy/girl twins and 24 y. o. elementary school teacher) looking for part-time hours in addition to my current 20 hr./week job in a cancer clinic. Home schooled my high schooler for the past 3 years, developing a "love of learning." Teacher in a home school cooperative helping group of elementary/middle school students with school work including developing curriculum, guidance, and focusing on ways in which a person learns. Social work training has helped me develop "meeting the person where they're at" and developing skills based on a person's strengths. My experience teaching school is not paid, however, being in the social work field, I have run many psycho educational and support groups and educated clients on various issues. I've worked with younger children in my early career.
