A warm and creative nanny with a BS in psychology and 9 years of experience caring for children from 3 months-14 years old. I currently live in Crown Heights and have been serving as a tutor in a 4th grade classroom. I'm looking for part-time work this summer and would love to continue into the fall when I begin my master's program in social work and public health. My most long-term care spans my 4 years in college working for a family with two boys, 15 months and 3 years old. In the summers, I nannied full-time for a family with two girls ages 2 and 4 and another family with two boys ages 3 and 7. I love using my background in art and dance for imaginative play, crafts, and outdoor adventures with kids, and I'm happy to do light housework and cooking. I enjoy building meaningful relationships with children in which they feel seen and heard. We feel beyond lucky to have found Camille through Care.com. She is such a natural with children. She has taken care of our now, 20-month-old, for the past 10 months, and our son adores Camille. While working from home, I hear him giggling and playing the entire time, and she follows his lead on his interests, playing along with his love for music and books. She also engages him in different outings--taking him to the park and the library. Additionally, she also has taken him to play soccer at a really neat park nearby. Camille also helps clean up and has everything returned to its place by the end of her time with our son. She is also punctual and timely, and she is a greater communicator, letting you know far in advance her schedule. She is a joy to be around, and it is such a comfort to know our son is loved and safe with her. I love Camille for our son, and I also feel grateful that she is a part of our family!
