About Camille Joy

I am Certified Teacher in Illinois with a Professional Educator License (PEL) in K-9. I have Middle School Endorsements in Math, Science, Language Arts, and Social Studies, so I am able to teach and tutor in all core subjects. My minor is in Math and Science concepts and my passion is Literacy, so those are my preferred subjects. I model and teach educational behaviors, mindset, and critical thinking needed for success, not just content. Tutoring with me is fun, routine, and creative. I am guided by what the student is inclined and interested in. I am not the right tutor for you if you want your child to leverage ai. I am the right tutor for you if you value writing by hand, knowing how to tell time and count money, think critically, strengthen their metacognition and be able to make decisions based on their knowledge. I prefer tutoring 1st-8th and can do siblings at the same time, if needed.
