About Camilla

I have cared for seniors for over 12 years. I enjoy doing it very much, helping people to accomplish their activities of daily living and encouraging them to engage in life is something that gives me a sense of purpose. I have experience taking care of people with various situations, some were very ill and others just needed a companion. Some of the people I worked with had various illnesses such as Dementia, Alzheimer's, COPD, Heart Disease, Multiple Sclerosis, Stroke, Parkinson's Disease and I had one case where the patient was legally blind. Some of my duties were dressing the patient, personal hygiene which included (showering, brushing teeth combing hair, shaving), shopping, driving to and from appointments and events, administering medication, mobility, cooking and serving meals, and in some cases feeding, light house-keeping, wound dressing, and just helping to make each patient comfortable.
