About Cameron

I'd describe my personality as passionate, caring, and determined. I like working with kids because I love helping little minds grow and learn. Whenever a child that I work with feels more capable and has fun, I become filled with joy. I'm looking for a job that provides experience, even if it's really challenging. I'm working towards a degree in secondary mathematics education, and so I'd love to explore the realm of teaching academic and social-emotional skills. I started working with kids in spring of 2023 when I joined the Teach North Texas Program. In my spare time, I like to read, journal, and watch Star Trek. One thing you should know about me is I may seem shy at first, but I'm filled with love and I enjoy supporting people so much. My skills include clear communication, emotional regulation, and patience.
