As a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), I often find myself at the forefront of human vulnerability, witnessing the daily struggles and triumphs of individuals who rely on me for comfort, support, and basic care. While the role may be perceived as routine or even menial by some, I believe my experience as a CNA has been profoundly enriching, shaping not only my professional skillset but also my understanding of human connection and the profound responsibility we have to care for one another. I am proud of my certification and committed to upholding the highest standards of care, and I argue that the qualities I have cultivated through my practical experience are essential for anyone working in the healthcare field.
