About Calyn

Hello future family! I'm passionate about children and truly believe in connecting with each child as the unique individual they are. I've worked with children of all ages, including those navigating anxiety, depression, OCD, and ASD, and I always strive to meet them where they're at. My approach is gentle and grounded in patience (15 years as a professional nanny will do that - at this point, I have the patience of a Buddhist monk) while encouraging independence and unapologetic individuality. Previously, I had the joy of working with the same family in Nashville, TN as both a nanny and house manager for 10 years. In 2021 I returned to school and completed my BA in interior design at KCAD before relocating "up north" (do I sound like a local yet?). I'm an eternal optimist and love to utilize humor in order to keep a positive outlook.
