About Calvin

Hi! My name is Calvin, and I'm a responsible, energetic, and compassionate caregiver with experience in both childcare and educational settings. I'm a recent graduate of the College of Charleston and currently work in a preschool environment, supporting children through daily routines, play-based learning, and social-emotional development. I also teach dance (hip-hop and tap), which has given me lots of experience keeping kids engaged, active, and confident in a fun but structured way. I'm patient, dependable, and great with high-energy days as well as calmer moments like reading, crafts, or winding down before bed. I'm comfortable helping with homework, preparing simple meals, getting kids outside to play, and following established routines. Safety and communication are very important to me, and I always strive to create a positive, supportive environment where children feel safe and encouraged.
